Costume wigs come in many different sizes, shapes, colors, styles, and fits. Some costume
wigs are even available in glow-in-dark colors. There are costume wigs that resemble certain
actors and actresses.
As with all other wigs, costume wigs must be properly cared for to retain its quality and look.
Style and wash the good quality synthetic fiber wigs, not the cheaper costume wigs. Check the
contents in the packaging for washing instructions. Brush out your wig using a wire brush and
apply hair spray on synthetic costume wigs.
Do not use heat to style synthetic wigs as the fibers will melt. Hair dryers, curling irons,
and hot rollers will damage your synthetic costume wigs. Cut and style your wig on a head form
or a real head for best results.
